If you are transferring files on the Internet then finding a good, reliable, easy-to-use, FTP client is often a difficult process. Some are very expensive but don't offer any more features than the free ones. Some free ones are frustrating at best and a real pain at worst. There are some good ones. WS_FTP, CoreFTP, and FileZilla are three that come quickly to mind. But there is another great alternative for Firefox users.
And if Firefox isn't your web browser of choice then I guess I just have to ask, "Why ever not?"
Firefox is, without a doubt, simply the best browser available. It is fully fast, functional, feature rich, and extremely secure. To use any other browser doesn't make any sense, to me at least.
So, you are using Firefox. Now you have another great FTP choice as well. FireFTP is a free plugin module that provides feature-rich FTP access to transfer files between your computer and other FTP servers on the Interent. Installation is fast and easy and it's easier to use than any other FTP client I've tried. I can't see why you wouldn't want it installed as part of Firefox for every-day use.
