Before downloading and installing 1st. Page 2000 (file available elsewhere on this site) you should read this:
Some versions of Norton and McAfee anti-virus software will report finding the "static" virus "JS/Winbomb" in the software. They may even delete or quarantine the file:
C:Program Files1st page 2000IScriptsButtonssix buttons from hell.izs
which is part of the 1st Page 2000 distribution. THIS IS NOT A VIRUS and you do not need to panic or worry about it. Six Buttons From Hell is a well known JavaScript routine that probably shouldn't be included with the program as it can cause some unexpected and confusing results for the novice but it is, none-the-less, perfectly benign and harmless. It is one of many library code files that you can choose to use or not to use as you see fit and, frankly, you probably shouldn't use this one if you are not a JavaScript coder. If you don't actually copy the code and put it into a web page it will do absolutely nothing but sit on your hard drive and take up a little space.
The report by Norton and McAfee is what is known as a "false positive" and, in this particular case, can be safely ignored.
