Content Writing Software

In our last section we showed you that you don't have to create content from scratch. You can still create unique articles and blog posts simply by rewriting existing content.

Today let's talk a little bit more about using "shortcuts" to create your own web content. Let's start with software that claims to "write content" for you.

CONTENT WRITING SOFTWARE

Are there tools that can help you write content?

Yes there are, but you need to approach some of these tools with caution.

There are tools that promise to automate the entire content writing process and save you the time of writing content by creating unique, "human-readable" content for you at the "click of a button." While many of these tools make impressive claims, some are "hyped up" and completely fail to deliver on their promise.

Many automated content writing tools "create" content by "scraping" content from other sites. Essentially, they do not "create" content, they copy content that has been written by someone else. Scraped content is not original or unique content, as it has been published elsewhere (often multiple times and verbatim).

If you publish scraped content "as is" on your site, you would not only be plagiarizing it (many would call this "stealing"), you could also leave yourself open to receiving copyright infringement notices and exposed to attracting a lot of negative "karma" online, as you are not really providing any value to readers.

There are tools and services you can use to check and see if the content you are using has already been published on other sites, and we will look at this later in the course.

Regarding content that is "readable" by humans, take a look at the paragraph below:

Social Media Within the Niche

You’re most likely at ease with how useful social media tools may be when the involves getting attention for your business. Really, websites are becoming this type of salient subject recently it's created a unique marketing acronym- similar to Seo has Search engine optimization, websites have Social Networking Optimization, or SMO.

Yes, it's true - you will find individuals who earn a living by modifying the Twitter accounts and Facebook profiles of individuals and corporations. The positive factor occurs when you’re somewhat operation, there’s without any reason you cannot manage your own personal social networking optimization.

There’s hardly any concerning the process that’s very hard - probably most likely probably the most annoying factor about here you go may be time-consuming, which describes why some companies decide to delegate the job.

Whenever your social networking optimization reaches a particular point, you may deem it essential to delegate it too, but additionally for those who are basically beginning on the road to social medial optimization, it’s recommended that you just assume control applying this yourself.

The paragraph above was created using content writing automation software that promises to deliver content "readable" to both humans and search engines.

Many people use automated content tools to fill up hundreds of sites and blogs with scraped or reassembled content. They hope that this will get their sites high search engine rankings that will then bring visitors who will click on ads and make the site owners money.

Apart from not adding any real value to human visitors and cluttering the web with loads of duplicate content or just plain "garbage", this strategy usually requires investing a lot of time and energy into a strategy that ultimately often delivers little to no (and increasingly diminishing) returns. For example, some people buy hundreds of domains to set up automated blogs in lots of different niches using "autoblogging" software. Although you can set all of this up very quickly (there are tools that automate the entire process of setting up autoblogging networks), owning hundreds of domains can cost thousands of dollars a year in domain renewal fees - most autoblogging sites don't even earn enough each year in ad revenue to cover the cost of renewing the domain the site is built on!

Also, if your goal is to add content to your website on a regular basis to get better search engine rankings in Google and attract more visitors to your site, then remember this:

The Google business model not only relies on users finding meaningful results when they search online, but they compete with sites like Facebook for users. To ensure that their search engine remains relevant to users, Google spends billions of dollars each year on people and technology that will help to improve and update its search algorithm to prevent people from gaming the search results, so the simple advice is don't do it.

Don't try and "beat" Google by using software that scrapes content from other sites and publishing this content on your own site. Avoid using "automated" software applications and automated content rewriting scripts that promise to deliver you better search engine rankings, but only end up creating garbled and unreadable garbage for human readers that adds no real value or uniqueness to your visitors' experience.

If you truly care about your business, don't compromise your integrity by using automated scripts to fill up pages on your site with rubbish or scraped content. You will simply be wasting your and your visitors' valuable time.

If the content you plan to add to your site fails to attract your attention, doesn't hold your interest, doesn't connect with your desires or fails to motivate you to take action, then it's highly probable that it will also do the same for everyone else who reads it.

IN SUMMARY

Avoid trying to game search engines with rubbish content or information that adds no real value - this strategy WILL backfire on you!

ACTION STEP

Make a decision that, whether you plan to write your own web content, use software or employ others to do it for you, you will always publish content that provide real value to your readers and site visitors. Stick by this principle at all times and don't be tempted by costly curves disguised as time-saving "shortcuts" that are ultimately doomed to failure.
