Write As You Normally Speak

Tip #3 - Write As You Would Normally Speak
You don't need to be too clever, witty or entertaining when blogging about your business. Just write as you would normally speak to someone about your business.
For example, pick a common problem that many of your customers seem to experience before choosing to buy your products or services and address that problem in your blog post.
Just be yourself and write in your normal conversational tone. Once again, imagine how you would speak if you were engaging "one-on-one" with a very happy (or an irate) prospect or customer, and write your imagined conversation down.

ACTION STEP
Your action step for today is to write down one typical response to a commonly asked question exactly as you speak. Save your answer somewhere that's easy to find and don't do anything else for now. We'll use this when you get to the next content writing tip, which follows next.
