I am a little late getting this post up. Sorry. It has been a crazy week. But I know you will like this one. It's at 4 p.m. eastern and it's about blogging out of the box to produce a post that is good for SEO first time, every time. And it's really not hard to do. You will be surprised.
Blogging For SEO The Easy Way
Ok, don't get your proverbial knickers in a knot. I know. Really. We are supposed to write for people first. Blogging for SEO sounds like it is somehow the antithesis of that. But it isn't. I am writing this post for you. I want to tell you about my Networking Live Virtually (NLV) presentation so you will know when it is and how to get there. I need to tell you enough about it to make it interesting without giving the whole thing away. It's a short presentation, after all.
So, I need to do these things to be sure the concept of Blogging for SEO is covered while still keeping the post suitable (interesting) for human readers -- people like you:
- I need to write about the subject in an understandable way.
- I need to know and use my keyword(s) appropriately.
- I need to have the key components that support good SEO.
That sounds pretty straight forward. The people part -- writing for human readers -- is something I am successful at or not. It's about writing style, story telling, and such. You can decide for yourself if I did a good job or not. I write the way I like to write and I hope it works for you. If not, maybe you can tell me about it and maybe I can change it up a little. Most of the comments I receive are in the plus column.
For the SEO part I use a plugin here in my WordPress website/blog to check a number of key factors necessary to produce a post that will suit people readers and search engine bots that index the site. If I've done my job in the writing correctly that software will give me a green light for over all SEO performance. Let me check...
