Well if you haven't submitted to Google Base you really should. This is currently the best free way to promote your items that I know of.

That being said, I recently downloaded Google Store Connector. I was delighted to see that in addition to having instant uploading to Google Base from eBay and Yahoo stores it also had OSCommerce stores. I have an OSCommerce website. But when I tried to use it it didn't work. Perhaps there is a difference between an OSCommerce store and OSCommerce website. I don't know?

So I went searching Google for the manual way to submit to Google Base. I quickly found it but I also found some forum posts that disturbed me. Several different website owners mentioned being rejected by Google Base. They were rejected for using drop shippers. One man posted that after he was rejected he wrote to Google and complained. He mentioned that his site was up to snuff and that the suppliers he used were the same ones used by many eBay (and other venue) sellers. Yet Google Base accepted their listings and rejected his. Google wrote back saying they had decided to allow his listings. He mentioned that he was uncertain whether they would continue to do so in the future or not!

After seeing this I decided to postpone my Google Base submission until I was more certain that my site and items would be accepted. Once rejected who knows how hard it will be to get re-approved! The letter of appeal thing has already been done!
