This was posted in a social media group I participate in. These are 12 principles that are foundational for you to become successful. The may seem overly basic but, as you work all 12 into your daily routine you will find amazing things begin to happen.
TO BECOME SUCCESSFUL YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
- BELIEVE – while others are doubting.
- PLAN – while others are playing.
- STUDY – while others are sleeping.
- DECIDE – while others are delaying.
- PREPARE – while others are daydreaming.
- BEGIN – while others are procrastinating.
- WORK – while others are wishing.
- INVEST – while others are wasting.
- LISTEN – while others are talking.
- SMILE – while others are frowning.
- COMMEND – while others are criticizing.
- PERSIST – while others are quitting.
These dozen items are so obvious to those of us who have been there that they almost seem like cliches. It is easy to say, "Yeah, sure!" and then forget about them. In fact, they are keystones to your ongoing success. The first one is BELIEVE, and you should believe in the importance of this entire list!
You don't need to feel pressured. Add one to your own belief system each day (or start a belief system if you don't actually have one) and in less than two weeks you will have included all twelve.
It is not so hard to accomplish but, when you are embracing all of them, you will see your own personal (and business) success grow dramatically. Success is a journey and it is not always easy. These 12 key factors will convert stumbling blocks into stepping stones to ease your passage. This is definitely worth doing!
