There is a demand for quality website designs. A good website template is a great way for an online seller to select a less expensive design for their own website. Although there are many free website templates available most of the free ones require more work to customize and otherwise set up. There is, therefore, a profitable business available in the selling of website templates, especially if the designs are full-featured and relatively easy to set up and customize. If you can design your own templates, find someone to design them for you, or purchase a selection of pre-designed templates with resale rights, you can start your own website template business.
There are several "start your own website business" CD packages available on the 'net. Some of these offer resale rights on hundreds, even thousands, of templates that are included with the package. Be careful what you spend your money on. Many of these are old, recycled, packages with old-style, simple, templates that are not likely to sell, even for just a few dollars. Be sure to research what you are buying.
There is, however, a very good oportunity here. If you can offer installation and customization assistance (partner with a designer/installer if you can't do it yourself) along with your templates you may create a combination that will be irresistable.
